Let’s Make a Movie

In this class, students will learn how to create a short independent film from scratch, by actually making one. We’ll learn some basics about filmmaking, choose a script, then work together to film it as a group. Students are free to act in the movie, help out on camera or both. No previous film or acting experience is necessary. Instructor’s movies have played at international film fests. Note: If you’re looking for a more comprehensive introduction to filmmaking, which includes both theory & practice, take this class along with Crash Course in Filmmaking. Location: University of Washington campus in Seattle
